- At A Sustainable Design of the Americas, we are dedicated to fostering a greener, more sustainable future. Founded by James Kantor, our firm leverages decades of expertise in environmental management and green building practices. Inspired by his grandfather’s work in constructing energy-efficient buildings during the Great Depression, James’ passion for ecological homes has guided our mission to create innovative, environmentally-conscious solutions. We are committed to developing eco-friendly, multi-generational homes and communities that prioritize sustainability and energy efficiency.
- Since our founding, we have collaborated with leading experts in science, technology, and sustainable design to bring cutting-edge solutions to life. Our projects range from sustainable consulting, the installation of solar arrays to the promotion of sustainable farming and waste management practices. James Kantor - CEO of ASDA
- James is the CEO of A Sustainable Design of the Americas, bringing over two decades of experience in environmental management and sustainability. With a double Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Emory University and a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina, James has worked extensively with federal agencies such as NASA, the Department of Energy (DOE), and the Department of Defense (DoD), as well as in private industry and nonprofits.
- James has successfully led initiatives such as the installation of a 94 kW solar array at his local synagogue, Temple Beth Or in Raleigh, North Carolina, and is currently working to establish a sustainability fund to support further green initiatives. With a focus on eco-villages and multi-generational smart homes, James collaborates with global partners to create innovative, environmentally conscious communities throughout the Americas.
